Here at the Yazz Academy, we know it can be daunting for those of you about to leave school. The fact is, there are so many options available to people who are ready to take their first steps into work, that it really can be difficult to know where to begin.

But if you have considered wanting to be a hairdresser or professional barber, we have all the resources you need at Yazz Hair Leeds. Giving you the opportunity to earn money while getting hands-on experience working in a salon, our apprenticeships help you gain a qualification whilst keeping busy, too.

With our apprenticeships, you’ll be in the salon four days a week, alongside attending college for a day. An industry-accredited hair Leeds training academy that helps you gain a great job in hairdressing, our NVQ Level 2 and 3 courses will equip you with all the skills you’ll need to stand head and shoulders among your competitors.

You’ll be working alongside expert tutors and with like-minded students in what promises to be a fun and interesting course. Taught by dedicated NVQ educators and accredited to the highest levels by City and Guilds and VTCT, our lessons include theory work, demonstrations, projects and workshops.

Following the hair Leeds course, you’ll graduate with the ideal blend of practical skills, having picked up useful theory knowledge and the qualifications you’ll need to succeed. Thanks to our courses, you may go on to be offered full-time employment in the salon you’ve been training in. If you’re lacking in confidence, you soon won’t be; our courses are designed to help you develop your skills in a relaxed environment.

You may even decide to train as a barber following your initial training.
